The draft function holds a reply in progress until the member is ready, which is useful when composing carefully or managing several exchanges at the same time.First-contact prompts give members a starting point when reaching out for the first time. These are pre-written starter messages that members select and send deliberately; nothing is dispatched automatically on anyone's behalf. At Youragemeets, every message is a choice made by the sender. A private-chat prompt function works similarly within active conversations, offering a set of structured options once a dialogue has already begun. Youragemeets members explore profiles through member search filters and two browsing views. Member search filters let members narrow results by age range and location. Filtering by interests, hobbies, or personal characteristics is not available; the search focuses on demographic criteria. The filtered results apply consistently across both browsing formats.
A scrollable member gallery displays Youragemeets profiles in a continuous view, suited to members who want a broad look before making contact. A one-at-a-time carousel presents profiles individually, suited to a slower, more considered approach to discovery. Members switch between the two views freely depending on how they prefer to browse.
Members can express interest in three ways:
A platform feed on Youragemeets lets members share posts and engage with content from others. It works alongside direct messaging as a communal layer for members who want a broader sense of activity on the platform. Animated reactions, a paid visual feature, are available within conversations as expressive responses once an exchange is underway.
Identity verification on Youragemeets is voluntary. Members who choose to verify submit a government-issued identity document, complete an age confirmation (members must be 18 or older), and provide a biometric selfie comparison against that document. Those who complete the process receive a verification badge on their Youragemeets profile, visible to other members. Verification is available and encouraged, though it is not required for every member. A separate trigger-based mandatory age verification process also operates automatically when our platform detects behavioral indicators that may suggest an underage user, independently of any voluntary check.
Every photo uploaded to Youragemeets passes through an AI moderation review before it is published. Images outside our platform rules are not published; the uploading member receives a notification and can submit an appeal. Private conversations on Youragemeets are not read by individual staff; automated tools monitor them for potential harm, including harassment and attempts to share personal contact information.
Members can report a profile, a photo, a post in the platform feed, or a message in a private conversation at any point. Every report goes to our Trust and Safety team for individual review. When a report is submitted on Youragemeets, the reviewing team acts on confirmed violations in line with our platform Terms of Service. The member who filed the report receives a notification at the email address registered to their account. Blocking is available from any profile page or within a conversation, independently of a report.
Account settings on Youragemeets include notification preferences, a blur control toggle that blurs sensitive content in chat by default, deactivation, and permanent deletion. Deactivation hides the profile from other members and pauses all notifications; it is fully reversible. Permanent deletion requires a final confirmation step and removes the account and its data permanently. Profile activity on Youragemeets is not indexed by search engines.
